In April — May 2016, I facilitated a series of strategic design workshops in Europe and North America to define the vision for PPG's global sales process.

The workshop brought together strategic leadership to first understand
PPG Protective Coatings EMEA’s sales and quoting processes in order
to identify opportunities for a strategic roadmap. The current state of

these areas were the focus for the beginning of the workshop series
and the learnings of these discussions are detailed in the first half of
this document.
The final day of the workshop in Amsterdam focused on
opportunities for improvement and prioritization of focus for the
EMEA team. These opportunities were prioritized by the team
present for use in this document and forward-looking thinking
on how to transform the PPG Protective Coatings EMEA sales
organization globally.

Following the initial workshop series, two workshops were held
in Pittsburgh on May 17-18, 2016 focused on Implementation.
During the workshops, the team collaboratively worked to review
the current state of the USCA org in Salesforce, identify how EMEA
will be implemented into the system, and define a Salesforce
implementation plan and identify a rollout approach. This
information is detailed later in the document.
